Komang Sulaksana

Born: June 5th, 1978.

Using the money they saved from working for other handicraft manufacturers, Komang Sulaksana and her wife started their own family business, Kandari in 1999. They make and sell beautifully designed notebooks and albums from recycled paper. To make the products even more attractive, they adorn them with dried leaves, twigs and dried fruits taken from their own garden. Although the business is still small, they have saved enough money to build a small house with a shop and a family temple. At present, they employed 7 young people and subcontracts to 6 other workers.read more
