I wanted to share that freedom with others in my village which inspired me to develop our beading co-operative." Wayan Widiarmini, a gifted Balinese artisan, learned beading 15 years ago when she was still in high school. She is a creative and patient person, which is fortunate as each piece can take up to one week to complete depending on the size of course! She decided to start a co-operative in her village to help other mother's earn an income while still being able to look after their children. She hopes that their handmade artwork will be admired and appreciated by all lovers of home decor. |
