Diah AyuBorn: September 30, 1958."I have been able to translate a lifelong passion of mine into a second career through the crafting of jewelry. Working with silver requires both attention to detail and a creative imagination to create both beautiful and inventive pieces." Diah was born and raised in Jakarta where she received a bachelor's degree in accounting. Throughout her career Diah nurtured a deep harbored passion for jewelry crafting and partook in several part-time apprenticeship programs over several years as time would allow. With the encouragement of her family, Diah recently decided to turn her "passion" into a career and became a full-time silversmith. Diah currently works at her shop in Gianyar, Bali. She is married with two teenage daughters who eager to help her mother to develop the business. |
