CraftNetwork strives to empower and develop meaningful and sustainable livelihoods for disadvantaged artisans, while providing high quality goods at the most competitive prices.  CraftNetwork.com is a commercial social enterprise that provides a fair living wage to its member producers while connecting buyers with artisans through the utilization of technology and sustainable business practices, thereby contributing to social good.

CraftNetwork provides export facilitation and enterprise development services to its member artisans to increase sales, strengthen ethical trading practices, build organizational capacity, and generate employment.  CraftNetwork’s facilitation of high quality fair trade products represents the commercial component of CraftNetwork’s endeavors, however the underlying mission of our initiatives stems from our commitment to the arts.

In many cases, the refined skill of the artisans with whom CraftNetwork works has been handed down through several generations in an age-old tradition.  This results in the development of unique and personal pieces that offer an alternative to the mass-produced product lines dominating the global marketplace. By establishing and nurturing relationships with both individual artisans and partner organizations, CraftNetwork works to ensure that these highly skilled artisans can continue to practice their craft while maintaining fiscal stability.
