Ketut Parsa

Born: April 12, 1974

"My love for the ocean began as a child growing up near Kuta Beach, a well known surfing beach in Bali. I have strived to capture the sea and all it's beauty and complexity in my paintings. I am now able to support myself as an artist through the opportunity of offering my paintings for sale through Beyond Bali. I am also very excited because I now have the time and resources to further my artistic ideas and designs".

Ketut Parsa comes from a family with long-standing tradition in the arts. Ketut studied and apprenticed as a painter at his Uncle's local gallery specializing in traditional Balinese paintings. He later started his own designs based on his passion and love of the sea.
